Infrastructure

Emphasis on our infrastructure is based on the belief, “It’s what’s inside that counts”. Our simple buildings assert to the ideal that what we develop inside our students is more important that what we see on the outside, for beauty is only skin deep. Our infrastructure focus in our campus is on our classrooms, laboratories and hostels ensure that the best available equipment and teaching aids as well as the most competent faculty and teaching methods are employed. All our buildings are built with the minimum specifications for a comfortable learning experience based on simplicity. This simplicity builds character in our students who learn to appreciate and value better the simple luxuries of life.

School Premises

The school has several campuses on which different activities are conducted. The academic learning and living space is on the main campus which houses the classrooms as well as the hostels. The different hostels and dorms are conveniently located close to each other and their access to the dining hall is easily facilitated. The main campus is 7 acres in size. Adjoining campuses are utilised for outdoor activities including camping, and adventure sports and gardening. The campuses are spread over 35 acres in the valley where the main campus is located. Students confine the majority of their activities to the main campus where all facilities and requirements including classrooms, sports field, games rooms and recreation areas are within walkable distance to each other.

This housing system is encouraged to have a safer monitoring system for students and also enables a closer growing experience where students learn to be accepting and considerate to each other. It also builds team spirit and a close knit family bond with those who live in close proximity to each other. There are separate hostels which house students according to their age and maturity levels. These hostels are named after leaders who have made a difference in the lives of others.

Catering Services & Canteen

Our catering and canteen services aim to serve good, nutritious and wholesome food which is also tasty and well prepared. The kitchen boasts of one of the first steam-cooking units which make the food to be prepared hygienically. The food is based on a South Indian style menu but generously interspersed with dishes from other parts of the country. Students are served from morning tea till dinner at scheduled times. Students participate in bringing dishes unique to their region to the table which brings a very cosmopolitan feel to the menu offered here. A continental diet is also provided at extra charges to those who are more used to a delicate diet without the spices made famous in South Asian cuisine. All our students maintain healthy weights made possible with close monitoring by teachers, balanced diets, exercise and cheerful spirits. There is a campus convenience store and canteen that provides snacks as well as providing tidbits for those in-between times.
