Samaritan Life
Samaritan Life
Life in Samaritan Residential Schools reflects a busy and full schedule for each and every student. Student life is primarily focussed on academic preparation and training. However, every day has its dynamic side with sports and games interspersed with activities that take out the monotony of attending classes and doing homework.
A typical school day starts early in the morning, with the students having time for physical activity through organised exercises and quite often a high energy game that prepares the student for the day with an active body and a stimulated mind ready to meet the challenges of school.
Students get ready for school and head out for the morning assembly before classes start but not before a healthy and hearty breakfast that gives them the energy to stay alert in class. The morning classes have a break in the middle before students go for lunch.
Afternoon classes are also an exciting time to learn subjects that are appropriately scheduled to keep them fresh and active. In the late afternoon, classes come to an end and the students have a tea break to get ready for evening activities.
Extra and Co-curricular activities are usually held on different days of the week. Special coaching and tutoring sessions are held by teachers to support and help students who find difficulties in the classroom. This provides emotional and mental strength by keeping them on par with their peers during regular classes. This also helps them to be well prepared for the next day and to provide strong foundations which are always useful later in life. Sports and games are played almost everyday and students have opportunities to connect home, relax and spend time with friends as they develop their social and networking skills.
