Samaritan Residential Schools is comprised of Samaritan CBSE School (I-VIII), Samaritan Public School (I-V), Samaritan Matriculation School (VI-X) and Samaritan Higher Secondary School (XI-XII).
The CBSE School is the latest addition to the Samaritan Residential Schools and is open for classes from I-VIII for the nationally acclaimed educational stream.The Public School prepares students from grades KG to V. The Matriculation School prepares students from grade VI to X. At the end of this educational grade, the students will appear in the State Board Examination conducted by the Education Department of Tamil Nadu.
The Higher Secondary School from grades XI – XII prepares students who have graduated from grade X to appear for the State Higher Secondary Board Exam which will enable qualified students to pursue their higher education and careers in universities and colleges all over the world.
The courses offered at Samaritans provide a strong foundation in language, math and science that enables our students to pursue a diversity of careers. The curriculum and coursework selected from Kindergarten to VIII are effective and challenging to students to help them improve their learning skills.
Books and texts for these courses are approved for the following standardised certificates:
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and
Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Matriculation.
Coursework and curricula used for classes IX to XII are provided and approved by the Tamil Nadu State Board of State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
For the Matriculation Board Exams, students from X appear for a rigorous testing exam that are evaluated by state-approved testing centres. The completion of this exam allows students to continue their Higher Secondary education. Students may choose their career paths in Arts, Science, Medicine, Engineering and other courses depending on the various subject groups offered in Class XI.
Students who complete their XI and XII classes at Samaritans will be permitted to appear for the State Board Examinations conducted and evaluated by the Tamil Nadu State Board of Higher Secondary Education. Successful matriculation of these exams will certify the students to pursue their higher education in colleges and universities in India and around the world.
